Tangletown Executive Director Andrea Siegel (left) helps with an electronic item during a recycling event at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2025. Lyndale, Kingfield, and Tangletown neighborhood associations partnered with Repowered to make it easy for neighbors to safely recycle unwanted data-bearing electronics such as cell phones and laptops. Repowered securely shreds and/or wipes data from all collected devices, ensuring information stays protected. Accepted items included cell phones; tablets and e-readers; laptops, computers and monitors; external hard drives; associated cables and cords, keyboards and personal printers. Other e-waste can be recycled or disposed of for free or low-cost through the City of Minneapolis or Hennepin County.
