SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION
Celebrate the longest day of the year and first day of summer at Cedar Lake South Beach at CIDNA’s annual family-friendly Summer Solstice Celebrationfrom 6-8 p.m. on June 20 at Cedar Lake South Beach.

TC PRIDE FESTIVAL JUNE 27-29
The Twin Cities Pride Festival is Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival. Highlighting the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on three stages, featuring over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses, it takes place at Loring Park June 27-29.

KITCHEnS OF HOPE COOKBOOK
Authors Linda S. Svitak, Christin Jaye Eaton, and Lee Svitak Dean will celebrate the release of their new cookbook, “Kitchens of Hope: Immigrants Share Stories of Resilience and Recipes from Home” with a book launch event at Norway House (913 E. Franklin Ave., ) on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. “Kitchens of Hope” brings together recipes and memories from immigrants to America who hail from more than 30 countries and come from vastly varied circumstances, offering a glimpse into their kitchens and insight into their lives. This vibrant cookbook is structured around the contributors’ personal stories of their journeys, reflecting community, resilience, opportunity, justice, hope, and celebration. UPTOWN FARMERS MARKET
Find fresh eats, live beats and good vibes at the Uptown Farmers Market on Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. at West Lake and Girard through Sept. 25. Get a $7 flat rate at the Seven Points parking ramp from 3:30-11 p.m.

EXHIBIT AT SOO VISUAL ARTS CENTER
Opening in July at the Soo Visual Arts Center (2909 Bryant Avenue) are two new exhibitions: The Suzy Greenberg Juried MFA Exhibition and a solo exhibition, “Beyond the Darkness, You Can See the Stars,” by Italian ceramist Fiorenza Pancino.
