JAZZ WOMEN ALL STARS JULY 20
In partnership with The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis, Patty Peterson Presents the free Jazz Women All Stars. Hear these female jazz powerhouses including Patty Peterson and Ginger Commodore on Vocals along with Mary Louise Knutson on Piano, Joan Griffith on Bass, Sheila Earley on Drums and Sue Orfield on Sax. The event will be Sunday, July 20, 2 p.m. at the Loring Park Stage, 1382 Willow St, Minneapolis.
Loring Park Art Festival JULY 26-27
The Loring Park Art Festival has been bringing together the arts and community since 2000. Located in beautiful Loring Park, this festival offers two days of art, music, food, and entertainment in a beautiful setting with ponds and formal gardens. Over 150 visual artists are invited to sell their original work, and visitors can enjoy strolling musicians, live music on the Westminster stage, special performances on the Neighborhood Stage, activities for kids and families, a Culinary Arts Market, and various food and beverage options.
MUSIC ON THE SIDEWALK
Enjoy music on the sidewalk outside Harriett Brasserie and Everett & Charlie Gallery in Linden Hills throughout the summer. Shows are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. The schedule is subject to change and weather permitting.
‘PORTRAITS OF ARAB AMERICAN WOMEN’
The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) is pleased to present “Mihrab: Portraits of Arab American Women,” a mixed-media installation and new body of work by Minnesota-based artist Hend Al-Mansour. The exhibition, part of the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program (MAEP), will be on view in Mia’s U.S. Bank Gallery from July 19 to Oct. 26, 2025. Admission is free.
FREE CONCERTS, MOVIES IN PARK
This year’s lineup features 200+ free outdoor concerts at eight park venues through Labor Day. Movies in the Parks will host a free outdoor movie on an inflatable screen somewhere in the park system on more than 60 summer nights.
