TWIN CITIES PRIDE FESTIVAL JUNE 26-28
The Twin Cities Pride Festival is Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival. It takes place at Loring Park on Friday, June 26-Sunday, June 28, and includes entertainment on three stages with over 650 vendors.
MILK CARTOON BOAT RACES JULY 19
Members of the Aquatennial Ambassador Organization (AAO) announced they will assume responsibility for producing the Aquatennial festival. This year also marks the return of a true original and beloved event, the Milk Carton Boat Races, under the Aquatennial umbrella.
Created in 1971, this regatta of carton contraptions will set sail on Sunday, July 19 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Bde Maka Ska as part of the Twin Cities Beach Blast. Artists will be competing in a Sandcastle Competition nearby on Thomas Beach, too!
There will be free sailing that same day at Minneapolis Sailing Center, 3010 E Bde Maka Ska Pkwy, 12 – 5 p.m.
NEW: ETC Productions performance of “Frozen Jr.” in Loring Park, 2 p.m. on July 19.
There will also be an art festival at Loring Park July 25 and 26.
LINE-DANCING AT PIMENTO’S AUG. 14

The Uptown Farmers Market is back for the season, every Thursday from 4-8 p.m at Lagoon and Girard avenues in the MoZaic Plaza.
POST-PRIDE TRASH PICK-UP JULY 1
Join Citizens for Loring Park Community for a post-Pride litter pick-up events on July 1. Meet at the picnic area in Loring Park at 5:30 p.m. Garbage bags, gloves and litter grabbers provided.
