Video highlight: Chat with Governor Walz

Southwest Voices spoke with Governor Tim Walz on Thursday, Jan. 29 amid growing concerns that state and local discussions with the federal government will lead to more collaboration with federal agents and ICE operations that will be harder to track by community efforts. He was on his way to give a speech at the Minnesota Newspaper Association Convention. On Tuesday as a guest on The Bulwark, Walz said, “These folks that are out there on the streets, they’re very skeptical and rightly so.”
