Despite signs posted in the window a few months ago saying that Szechuan Spice was closed for remodeling, a new restaurant has moved into the space.

Southwest Voices confirmed the news with Kung Fu Hot Pot’s manager. The new owner of Kung Fu Hot Pot is Hui Wang. Szechuan Spice owner ChangFu Xue has retired and is moving to China. Xue opened up the restaurant with Jenni Shi in 2010.

Their menu is not available online.

Kung Fu Hot Pot is located at 3016 Lyndale Ave. S.
