The Minneapolis Redistricting Group meets again today to discuss new Ward boundaries. You can find a good summary of the issues discussed at the last session here. They'll be meeting today at 4 PM to review the draft Ward maps – here's the link to today's agenda and info on how to watch.

If you want to submit a comment or a map, here's some information on how to do so. They'll meet again on Friday to discuss the maps a bit further.

The School Board met for nearly 5 hours last night to discuss a variety of issues we mentioned in yesterday's email, including the implementation of a testing mandate for unvaccinated student athletes.

The Racial Justice Network hosted an event to discuss the education gaps in Minneapolis Schools. State testing results showed only 19% of Black students reading at grade level while 74% of white students do. (FOX 9)
