Southwest beat Washburn last night in boy's soccer 2-1, scoring the deciding goal with 50 seconds left in the 2nd OT. Southwest continues their undefeated season, and even better, the four teams ranked ahead of them in the state all lost in the playoffs. They'll head to the State tournament next, and will likely play their opening game at home. We covered some of the game over on Instagram – don't miss some of the fan reactions in our Story/Highlights section. Washburn played them almost exactly even, and had an incredible season they should be proud of as well.
