What should someone do with a free day in Whittier?

Tour MIA, have lunch at Colonial Market, check out the back patio at Pimento, play pinball at Tilt, then get dinner and drinks from Little Tijuana.

Lake Wine and Cheese makes the absolute best sandwiches to-go. Pick up some wine or other beverage of your choice at the liquor store while your sandwich is freshly made and find a green patch of grass to enjoy your sandwich and beverages.

Explore  Karmel Mall and Lyndale Avenue.

Start the day at Glam Doll or Spyhouse, then shop the vintage stores and stop for bubble tea.

Go to Mia and/or Hennepin History Museum, grab food on Eat Street, pick an avenue or two and walk the entire neighborhood north to south from Franklin to Lake.
