After failing to come up with outstanding rent, Pimento on the Lake vacated the premises this weekend, according to communications from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation system.
Owner Tomme Beevas was given four extra months to come up with rent for its Bde Maka Ska location but defaulted. The lakeside restaurant owed $150,000 in back rent and is still struggling with tax issues, which Southwest Voices covered this summer.
