Neighbors for More Neighbors, an organization that has long supported the 2040 Plan, is filing an amicus brief in district court in support of the plan. Why? Recently a district court judge ordered a pause to any development approvals that are allowed under the 2040 plan aka multi-family dwellings on previously single-family zoned land. Neighbors for More Neighbors is holding a press conference tomorrow about its amicus brief--which is basically a letter submitted to court in hopes of influencing a decision. We will keep you posted on this developing story (no pun intended).

People can still access Kenilworth Lagoon from Lake of the Isles during this closure. When conditions are safe, the channel may reopen on some weekends for recreational use. We will pass along any updates.
