Oliphant Deal at LynLake Brewery a No Go

LynLake Brewery is sticking around. The short-lived deal made public in January included Oliphant Brewing securing a liquor license from the City of Minneapolis at the LynLake Brewery location. Oliphant Brewing is based in Somerset, Wisconsin.

In March, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal spoke with the owners of LynLake Brewery in a paywalled article that confirmed the deal is not happening. In the article, the owners explain Oliphant could not secure a loan to operate its new business at the LynLake Brewery location.

A week prior, LynLake Brewery announced it was hiring a head chef and an events manager.

Staff are still not at liberty to talk about the deal but safe to say, LynLake Brewery is sticking around.
